High Power Dual-Purpose Forensic Light Source
This innovative product combines high precision dichroic and beam-forming optics and LEDs in a uniquely engineered design to produce an affordable fluorescenece light source that outperforms all other forensic light sources. Toggle between 1 watt and 4 watt Violet Radiometric power output in a 20 nm spectral bandwidth. Well collimated beam gives a uniform intensity spot one foot diameter at ten feet distance.

The highest intensity LED forensic alternative light source available anywhere. 40 watt light with 4 watts of optical power output at 450 nm. The blue light is intense enough at its one-inch diameter focal spot to view flurescence in daylight. Yellow viewing glasses (included) provide greater than 99.99% blocking of blue light, so that you view only fluorescence.  Charge-in-place Ni-cad batteries and charger included. Price:$795.

Fluorescence Excitation Ratiometer
Measures a two-point fluorescence excitation spectrum over the visual field of view. Gives a chemical specific contrast enhancement to help locate and identify trace evidence. See Forensic Magazine June/July 2005 feature article for further discussion of applications in forensices (link below).

System includes Ratiometer with battery charger, fluorescence and polarization glasses in a waterproof case. Price: $3,995.

Blue Polarization Ratiometer
Similar to Fluorescence Excitation Ratiometry, the polarized version flashes alternately horizontal and vertical polarized blue light. It effectively makes visible to the naked eye birefringence and polarization dependent absorption never before seen. There are three viewing modes: naked eye, fluorescence viewing with yellow filter glasses (included) and polarized fluorescence viewing with polarizing glasses inside yellow fluorescence viewing goggles. In the naked eye mode one can determine the orientation and degree of anisotropy of polarization dependant absorption (such as seen in polaroid film, for instance). In the fluorescence viewing modes the viscosity can be observed and the angle between emission and absorption dipoles can be measured.

System includes Polarization Ratiometer with battery charger, fluorescence and polarization glasses in a waterproof case. Price: $3,995
